Contactless Intelligence Spring Conference 2009
Join us in April for our Annual Spring Conference, which has now been extended to 2 days in order to cover contactless topics in more depth. Held on 1st and 2nd April 2009 at the Hilton Tower Bridge, next year’s event will include a mix of presentations, panel sessions, roundtables and demos, so that participants will not only receive updates on what is happening in the world of contactless technology, but also discuss issues and opportunities with the implementers themselves and move forward with some of the business model roadblocks. Speakers will be from: LOCOG, Olympic Sponsors, retailers, sporting venues, transport companies, unattended payment, technology companies, banks, payment associations, mobile operators and analysts. …
CARTES & IDentification 2008
C-ITV will be broadcasting next from the Paris-Nord Villepinte-France Exhibition center on 4/5/6 November at CARTES & IDentification 2008. Continuing its role as the event’s exclusive video broadcaster, C-ITV will be there to record its daily show, ‘From The Show Floor’.
This year, the C-ITV show will run for approximately 45 minutes, including arranged programming as well as adverts and videos. The broadcast will then be looped to play continuously throughout the day in prime attendee convergence spots (enrolment, coffee areas etc). The main thrust of From The Show Floor will be interviews and booth demonstrations that will be recorded and shown the following day. It will also be shown on C-ITV in the CARTES zone.
The show will be broadcast to attendees of the exhibition via the unique C-iPosts that will be stationed around the exhibition area. These will also carry NFC-enabled ‘smart posters’ as well as the latest issues of C-IQ magazine.
If you are interested in taking part in any of the recording sessions each day or feel that your company would benefit from this unique promotional opportunity, please contact Susan Hicks for more details.

Roundtables Summer 2008
During our Annual Conferences, many issues are aired that need further discussion, which has led to our series of working group roundtables of around 10 – 20 participants to brainstorm and problem solve throughout the summer months. Great partnerships have emerged from our previous sessions and real trials have blazed the way for real rollouts. We have been asked for more working sessions again this year and below are our first thoughts and feedback from participants so far. But, we are still open to topic suggestions, so now is a good time for your input!
We will make more subjects available on each date to encourage cross networking and make the sessions longer to ensure a thorough debate is possible. The individual sessions will culminate in a list of actions to be completed and the Chairperson of each group will then present their findings to the whole session. There will be plenty of opportunities for Networking across all of the 3 groups during the breaks and lunchtime.
